Part-time and Distance Doctoral Students' Group (Lanarkshire and VC) | Lanarkshire Campus, University of the West of Scotland (UWS) | Quinta, 30. Abril 2020

Peer support group for all part-time and distance doctoral students with links to UWS, including UWS staff studying at other institutions

Are you undertaking doctoral study part-time or at a distance, either at UWS or another university? Many members of UWS staff are working and also undertaking their research while we also have UWS postgraduate research students as distance learners all over the world. This group is designed to offer interdisciplinary peer support for part-time and distance doctoral students.
Facilitated by part-time PhD student and UWS Academy teaching fellow Claire Mackie, meetings will be held on different campuses and participants can also take part by videoconference. This meeting will take place on Lanarkshire campus and will be videoconferenced. All part-time doctoral students who work or study at UWS are welcome; this includes UWS staff who are studying at another institution. Distance learners can participate via a WebEx link which will be sent out a couple of days before the group meets.
