Royal Occasions LLC accepts reservations and payments according to two schedules:
Payment in Full at the time of booking
Payments over time on Royal Occasions LLC Billing Plan

You may pay in full at the time of booking. No future payments will be needed, unless you later modify your reservations.


We are NOT affiliated with ESSENCE MAGAZINE or the producers or event coordinators of ESSENCE FEST.
You should only buy concert tickets and party passes from reliable ticket sources such as TicketMaster or Essence Fest and/or its distributors.
Please note the Hyatt Regency New Orleans Hotel only have one king or two queen beds. Please note this when booking triple or quad occupancy. Rollaway beds available for additional nightly fee. 
Hotel Industry standards may require a credit card charge upon checking into your room for incidentals. You and your roommates should discuss this before checking in. You should also use a credit card as oppose to a debit card. Cash can also be submitted. Please contact Hyatt Regency New Orleans more on their incidental policy.
Royal Occasions Staff will be on-site for any guests needing assistance at the hotel and/or Jazz Dinner Cruise.


Making reservations for this 2020 Essence Fest package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
You must make your reservations in the name that is on your government issued identification you will use to check-in at the hotel & airline.
All of your payments to Royal Occasions are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment.
Royal Occasions accepts payments by credit/debit card, Paypal, ApplePay, SquarePay and CashApp. Please see option below.
Refunds will not be given due to roommate abandonment. Please ensure your roommate has made his/her reservations and are making timely payments as required.
Name changes are available on your reservations until April 1, 2020.
No payments will be accepted after April 1, 2020.
If you select the auto bill plan and later cancel this plan you are responsible for making timely payments on your reservations according to the billing plan on your account. If you should go more than 60 days without any payment whatsoever, your reservations may automatically cancel without notice.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Attendees are responsible for transportation to the event. Flight and shuttle packages will be offered at a later date, prices TBA. 3 day trolley pass is included in the hotel package. All other transportation is the responsibility of the attendee. Parking is available around the hotel for a fee ranging from $25 - $35 a day paid directly to the hotel / parking garage.

What's the refund policy?
All payments are non refundable. Please make sure that all attendees, roommates and group members make their payments on time to avoid reservation cancellation. Contracts negotiated by Royal Occasions, LLC for this event does not permit refunds should an attendee cancel. Travel Insurance is highly recommended. You should research and choose a travel insurance policy carefully. Suggested travel insurance companies are below:• Travel Guard• Allianz Travel Insurance• TravelEx Travel InsurancePlease contact Royal Occasions, LLC immediately should any difficulty arise during your payment plan for possible arrangements. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, your printed ticket is for you records and receipt of reservation and payment. All reservation confirmations, itineraries, and final trip communication will be emailed to the individual or group leaders email address. Please provide accurate email address during registration. 

Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you may update your registration information up to 30 days prior to the event by contacting Royal Occasions, LLC. 

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Registrations are transferable up to 60 days prior to event upon request. Request must be made to Royal Occasions, LLC by phone, email or web inquiry. A confirmation email will be sent after changes are made. No transfers are complete without confirmation.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No, All tickets and registrations must be in the legal name of the registering attendee and match a government issued identification or passport.

Will I recieve a partial refund for the events that I can not atttend in the package? 
No refund for any portion of the package will be given. No Exceptions!!!!!!

Travel Insurance Waiver
I understand that the Event Host/Travel Agent/Sandra King/Royal Occasions LLC and DO NOT include NOR offer Travel Insurance as a part of any of their event tickets, event packages, hotel rooms or travel packages. Each traveler/attendee must purchase their own travel insurance through a third party if they choose.
