USD's Academic Open House - Multi Days | Segunda, 03. Agosto 2020

You are invited to USD's Academic Open House 2020

About this Event

Welcome Toreros! As a new USD student, you likely have a bunch of questions: What will my first day of class look like? What can I major and minor in? What type of research is available? What additional activities are available to enhance my experience... We put together a week-long virtual program to answer all of these questions and get you connected to your new Torero community.

The week kicks off on Monday, August 3, with an afternoon of events that cover general academic opportunities like college classroom expectations, international experiences and Changemaker programs. Throughout the rest of the week, the three undergraduate schools at USD will host major-specific events to give students the opportunity to connect with faculty in specific departments to discuss areas of study that interest them.

Monday, August 3: Academic Opportunities

Explore and learn about navigating your USD experience through topics including college expectations and support, community engagement, being a Changemaker, research opportunities, international experiences, creative academic outlets and bridging the classroom to a career.
